Q. Who is required to complete the Natura &Co GCOC (Global Code of Conduct)
e-learning module?
A. All associates across all companies that hold a corporate e-mail account are
required to complete the GCOC e-learning module. It’s also mandatory for Natura&Co board members.
Q. Which companies are being scoped for this e-learning module?
A. For now, Natura, The Body Shop, Aesop, and Avon LATAM are required to
complete the new Natura &Co GCOC e-learning module. In time Avon
international will also be required to adopt the group code of conduct and the subsequent training.
Q. Why is Avon International not required to adhere to the group code of
conducts and consequently complete this e-learning module?
A. Avon International have recently completed their own Code of Conduct training and therefore are not required to adhere to the group code of conduct this timearound. As we move forward with integration across our businesses, we will be issuing global policies, including this new N&C GCOC. The GCOC is very much inline with the values and ethics that make up the Avon Code of Conduct.
Q. My colleague does not have a corporate e-mail address… How should s/he proceed?
A. We understand that not all associates own a corporate email account or work
in retail rolls which don´t always have access to e-mails. In these cases associated
will be subject of a separate initiative sessions conducted by HR focal points who will be in touch with them in due course.
Q. How should I access the e-learning module?
A. You will receive an email from ICTS (our Third Party Provider) with a link to
access the e-learning module and further instructions. We strongly recommend that you change your password following your initial access.
Q. What should I do when I receive the email?
A. The N&C GCOC e-learning module has been translated into 14 languages.
Please select language of preference, and complete the e-learning module before
the deadline, making sure that you act in accordance with the GCOC disclosing any conflicts of interest.
Q. Do I need to complete the e-learning module from a company computer?
A. Absolutely not! We have made sure that the module is accessible on various
platforms including mobiles, tablets and laptops. All you need is a good wi-fi
connection and a quiet place where you will not be disturbed in order to complete the module.
Q. What is the deadline for the completion of the e-learning module?
A. All associates and board members must complete the e-learning module by
Oct 9th 2020. With exceptions being made only for those who are on maternity/medical leave.
Q. Will the e-learning module be available in my native/preferred language?
A. Yes, we have made the e-learning module available in the 14 official
languages of the group, so you can do the training in your own/preferred language.
Q. I have previously completed my own company´s code of conduct. Which
COC should I now follow?
A. We now are united by the GCOC, so this new Code replaces any previous
Natura, Aesop, TBS and Avon Code of Conducts. If you work for Avon
International, you should follow Avon’s Code of Conduct and policies, available on Avon’s intranet.
Q. Which policies should I follow?
A. As stated in the GCOC, you must follow your Group Company’s policies since
we are in the process of reviewing and unifying all the Group Companies’ policies. In case of query, please reach out to your local E&C team for support.
Q. Which hotline should I use, if I´d like to report or raise any concerns?
A. We are in the process of unifying the Group helplines, but for the time being
please continue to use your Company’s toll-free number – rest assure that
regardless of which helpline you choose, your complaint will be investigated and treated seriously, impartially, and with the utmost confidentiality.
Q. If I have any problems with access, or have question related to the elearning
module , who should I contact?
A. Please contact your local HR and/or E&C Officer.
